A digital signage company has purchased land in Birmingham for a new head office.

Allsee Technologies has acquired a 2.3-acre plot in Longbridge from St Modwen where a new £12 million 80,000 sq ft head office will be built.

It is estimated that the company, currently based in Bartley Green, will create 150 new research and programming jobs when the HQ on the Longbridge West site opens next year.

Allsee Technologies specialises in new technology, digital media and AI research.

The company, which also has global offices in Belgium, China, India and Uganda, was founded in 2007 and develops the hardware and software for commercial LCD and LED outdoor and indoor display screens. Its products are used by retailers, restaurants, hotels, schools and hospitals.

It was advised on the undisclosed land acquisition by property specialists from West Midlands law firm MFG Solicitors and agency Trigram Properties.

Associate solicitor Phil Hunt said: "The Longbridge West development is attracting a variety of large businesses and is vital to the ongoing regeneration plans in that part of the city.

"Allsee Technologies sees it as a perfect geographical location for both its headquarters and its new research and development facility as the business expands."
