Black Country domestic repairs group HomeServe has appointed a new chief executive.
Nick Kasmir will lead the Walsall-based group's UK arm, reporting into Ross Clemmow who leads the Europe, the Middle East and Africa division.
He succeeds John Kitzie who stepped down this month after three years in the post to return to HomeServe's operations in the US.
Mr Kasmir has been with HomeServe since 2013, undertaking roles spanning finance, marketing, planning and commercial functions before being appointed chief finance officer in 2019.
This role also included responsibility for HomeServe's commercial and product activities.
Prior to joining HomeServe, he held finance and commercial roles at Bank of America's MBNA credit card division, Vodafone and Ford.
Mr Kasmir said: "The opportunity to lead HomeServe is an exciting prospect and I can't wait to get started.
"Over the next few years, there will be significant changes in home heating and efficiency solutions as the UK's green transition continues."
