Construction firm Hercules Site Services has secured contracts with a combined value of £5.75m.
The Gloucestershire-based company, which specialises in recruitment for the UK’s infrastructure sector, announced its Civils Projects division had been awarded the contracts during the final quarter of 2023.

These contracts will see the South Cerny-based company deliver work for two clients relating to eight wastewater treatment and water management projects. The Civils Projects division has expertise in executing projects in this sector and experienced a busy year in 2023 as UK water companies face pressure to increase the country's water resilience.
The contracts include £3.78m awarded from Thames Water across six sites, the largest being £2.2m at the sewage treatment works in Crawley. While £1.97m was awarded from Anglian Water across two sites, the biggest being £1.29m at the water pumping station in Etton, near Peterborough.
Paul Field, construction director, said: “These further wins are testament to our strong position as a trusted supplier to the UK water industry and build on the contracts previously announced in September with these two important clients.
“The UK water industry has pledged to invest £10 billion to provide a cleaner, safer infrastructure network, and Hercules is well placed to help deliver on this given our expertise in the space.”
In a trading update on October 17 for the year ended September 30, Hercules Site Services announced it expected revenue to be over £80m, representing an increase of 60% on the previous year of £49.5m. The The AIM-listed business, which has its head office in South Cerny near Cirencester, has experienced an average annual revenue growth for the last three years is over 50%.
On October 9 2023 the company won a contract to provide labour for a five-year deal by the rail arm of infrastructure group Balfour Beatty, as part of work on Network Rail's £44bn ‘Control Period 7’ (CP7) programme.
