The independent, partner owned company has previously provided pre-acquisition advice on Bristol harbourside properties such as the V Shed and the South Building.
G&S bosses said the move to a more central location in the city would allow the firm to expand its workforce and better serve its clients across the South West and South Wales.
Director John Gardner said: “Our new ties in the region will enable us to expand our offer and provide the professional services that has made G+S successful from Inverness to London. And with a team of 250+ specialists behind us, we’re bringing a competitive and comprehensive range of capabilities to our new central Bristol home.
“I’m also pleased to say that conversations to extend the service offer are underway with several candidates, and I hope to be able to provide more good news regarding recruitment in the very near future.”
Alongside the announcement of the new Bristol office G&S also unveiled a new sponsorship deal which will see it support Bristol Bears Women and England international rugby player Holly Aitchison.
Mr Gardner said: “The firm’s history of support for local professional rugby is part of the company’s DNA and reflects the G+S service hallmarks of professionalism and care. I’m very pleased that we can extend this tradition to Bristol by supporting Holly during her career.
“It is hoped that this sponsorship will not only promote awareness of the women’s game; but can also help to promote awareness of career opportunities in the world of property, and to act as a stepping stone for Holly and others to consider a new career in surveying following their retirement from rugby.”
G&S employs a total of 250 people across 21 UK offices, with a further South West base in Swindon.
