Global built environment consultancy Arup has relocated its West Midlands team to a new home which it helped to build.
Previously based in Solihull, around 800 staff have made the move to One Centenary Way, the third office building to be completed on the £1.2 billion Paradise estate in Birmingham city centre.
The deal for the new office was announced in 2021. It spans three floors, totalling 68,000 sq ft of space at the building which recently held its official opening and welcomed a new F1 Arcade bar in Two Chamberlain Square next door.
Overbury carried out the fit out for Arup which was designed by HOK and which includes a variety of workplace settings, social and wellbeing areas, creative spaces and a bike hub with changing facilities.
The fit out includes a dedicated café with an invitation to local social enterprises to operate it and an open-plan gallery on the ground floor which Arup will use to engage with local communities.
